This photograph was made last week. While the images come very easy these days, figuring out what to do with them, and what to say about them (if anything) is another story . . . a topic I intend to address here at some point. Meanwhile, today - three points:
a) I felt a strong urge to surf on the wave of the new momentum that started with yesterday's post;
b) I've been meaning to put up this image of an absolutely awesome sunrise from the moment I was able to run to the spot in time to document it; and
c) I felt it in a way that TODAY it could serve as my metaphor for yesterday's Supreme Court ruling, a decision that to my thinking is quite disastrous.
I realize that the last point could be seen by some as unnecessarily watering down the sheer visual power of that moment. But sometimes, one just has to speak up, and the old sailor's proverb about the red sky at morning seemed appropriate here.
